RE: technical support specialist level I
Dear Hiring Manger:
Please review the enclosed resume. I consider myself a son of Texas, and a proud American. Granted my former views were not in tune with this spirit of patriotism, but as humble as I am in my service to the infrastructure, and concomitant community, state, and country under the natural law, I believe in nurturing the American as the son within his birth place. My work as a dishwasher at the Dominion introduced me to hard labor, prior to this as a flight mechanic I did heavy labor; thus, I am thankful for the opportunity to understand the difference between being manual and technical. In 2007 I was awarded a certified light automotive maintenance technician certificate from Houston Community College (Northline). That aside, with my new found path in the trades, I’ve been a successful do it yourselfer. Be that as it may--I am in good health--as a dishwasher at the Dominion, a common work day involved ten to 12 hours of standing and lifting. I can safely assess that I enjoy kinesthetic work with a little cerebral “know how” involved in the job description. Given that I am able to perform automotive diagnostics and that I know the fundamentals of how to study, I can crossover to other specialty trades. I recently installed Linux OS in my old laptop and brought it back to service. Please note my certification in CompTIA A+ to fix pc/laptop, iPhone, and notepad. My goal is to rent in a commercial zone to fix these commodity items at competitive rates, given my competence in this field; hence, my interest as tech support specialist level I. My intent is stay employed in this field for at least five years before going into private business. I feel confident these professional and practical experiences, accompanied by my training, will make me a valuable asset to you. If possible, I’d like to speak with you in further detail. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Ruben Regalado, MS

CAREER OBJECTIVE:
PC REPAIR; IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST LEVEL I
- Five years of IT experience as a student at many university and college settings.
- I learned BASIC, FORTRAN 77, HTML and Microsoft office XP.
During my work as a graduate student I was a Teaching Assistant for two years: one year at TAMU COLLEGE STATION TX where I supervised three labs and instructed ~ 90 total students per semester; and, at the University of Houston where I instructed both General and Organic chemistry labs ~ 60 total students per semester. Although I enjoyed my time as a Teaching Assistant my penchant is towards applications not instruction: “Those that know do and those that understand teach”… Plato. In two years I see myself as technical support associate level II; in five years I like to run a pc/laptop iPhone repair business otherwise I see myself still developing a client base as a manger of said business. Currently I’m a real estate investor in College Station TX; I reside in San Antonio TX, my homestead and incipient place of prospective business startup. My most valuable skills are my communication, strong work ethics, speaking/teaching skills. I’m highly organized and goal oriented.
